OC Fair 2009

Another year for the OC fair. The day we went each ride was only $1.00 so how much cheaper can it get than that? If only the food was $1.00! (: It was tons of fun but it was super hot that day! My favorite part of the day was when Cade and Troy went on the bumper cars. Cade had his own car and it was the funniest thing ever! They were the kiddie bumper cars and didn't go

very fast but still it was super funny watching him. I video'd him!

July 19 we took the boys along with their cousins to Wild Rivers water park in Irvine. It was alot of fun! Cade was still a hair too short to go on the big water slides but he still had a blast going on the kiddie slides -and so did Brodie! I didnt get a whole lot of pics because we were in the water the majoroty of the time and hardly any of Brodie but I did get a few!

In June our 9 year old Nephew came to visit us from Tennessee for 6 weeks. We went to the river, the beach, the water park, and even spent a day at the OC fair. Having a 9 year old, a 3 year old and a 1 year in the house at the same time was not easy - but I did survive! There has never been so much energy in one house at the same time! However, his trip was split up by staying at Grandma and Grandpas, and Uncle Mark and Aunt Jaymi's house too. Let me tell you......Cade and Troy....you would think they were brothers who grew up in the same house their whole life! They antangonized eachother to no end - but at the end of the day they were best buds! Cade wanted to do everything Troy did! Just because Troy slept in his sport shorts Cade had too and still does just for that reason - thanks Troy! haha Cade talks about him all the time and wishes he were still out here in California so he could play with him! Until next summer..........

Then comes Brodie.....

So after months of sleepless nights, every 2 hour feedings, neverending diaper changes, (lots of poopy ones I might add), constant cleaning of baby bottles and sippy cups, and oh yeah being a target for food (and other objects), we decided it would be fun to give a Cade a little buddy and do it all over again! We must we crazy! What were we thinking? So we decided to have another baby because one just wasn't enough! And of course....... you know......they are just so cute as newborns! (: Well a long story short we found out we were pregnant with baby #2! I had an easy pregnancy - however I didn't get nearly the rest and sleep I got with my first. I had Cadester to chase around the whole time - which was exahusting but probably a good thing ~ I only gained half the baby weight of what I gained being preggers with Cade. So on with the story - May 1, 2008 another healthy beautiful baby boy was born. It was neat to experience that same feeling all over again. When Cade was born the love I felt for him was like nothing I'd ever felt before. I thought I'd never be able love something or someone as much as him. Boy was I wrong! The same love I felt for Cade was the exact same for Brodie and is as strong as ever and keeps growing everyday! I love both of my bubbies so so much! I can't even imagine life without them - what did we ever do with out them! Brodie is now 15 months. I can't believe it - he's grown so fast. He's turning into this little boy and has no baby left in him which makes me a little sad but at the same time it's neat to watch him grow and learn new things each day. There's no telling what the day may bring with Brodie! I honestly believe he's part monkey! (: He loves to climb on everything! Here are a few pictures.

Ten months after AJ and I were married we found out some very exciting news ~ I was pregnant with our first baby! It was happening - we were going to be parents! Our little family was starting! We were both happy, excited and scared all at the same time. Through all the Dr. appts, birthing classes, monthly belly pics, baby showers, getting the nursery ready, and making sure everything was perfect for our little bundle of joy and of course the waiting and waiting and waiting ~ the big day finally arrived after what seemed like eternity! I thought it would never get here! I finally gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy on April 11, 2006 who we named Cade Daniel Martin. Man where does the time go!? I can honestly say it has been 3 amazing years watching Cade blossom into this amazing little boy. Just watching him learn new things, and say new words it makes me so proud of the little boy that he's growing into. And a very important thing that happened when he was 2 is that he became a big brother! So now he has a little brother to look after! He is the best big brother and loves Brodie so much - they are best buddies! It all started this day.........

In a nut shell I'm going to tell my story of how we got to where we are today............OK so it all started on the day of September 25, 2004. This is the day that my husband AJ and I decided to "tie the knot"! We knew this was the beginning of something very special and were very excited to see what the future had in store for us! (:
